Charity Trask is a fictional supporting character featured in the 1960s Gothic daytime television series Dark Shadows. She is part of a storyline that this database refers to as the "1897 Flashback". Played by actress Nancy Barrett, she first appeared in episode 727.

Overview[]

Charity Trask grew up in the late 1800s. She was the daughter of Gregory Trask and Minerva Trask and grew up at Worthington Hall in Maine. Charity formed a romantic relationship with one of Worthington's instructors, Tim Shaw.

Biography[]

Charity went to visit Tim Shaw at the Collinsport Inn. She took note of how strangely he was acting as he was attempting to translate some ancient texts given to him by Evan Hanley. Tim passed out and Charity remained on hand to watch over him. [3]

Charity went to visit the art studio of Charles Delaware Tate. She was impressed with Tate's work on the Portrait of Quentin Collins. When Tate left the room however, the image of Quentin transformed into the image of a werewolf. Charity was terror-stricken and Tate tried to convince her that it was just the sound of the wolves howling outside that fired up her imagination. [4]
