Charisma Carpenter is an American actress born in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 23rd, 1970. She is best known for playing the role of Cordelia Chase on the popular television programs Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Although introduced in Buffy, she became a more prominent character on Angel appearing in a total of only 57 episodes on Buffy and 90 episodes on Angel. She was a series regular on Buffy from seasons one through three. Her final episode was "Graduation Day (Part 2)", after which, the character migrated to the Los Angeles setting of Angel where she appeared in every episode until the character was killed off.

Outside of Buffy and Angel, Charisma Carpenter also played the role of Kyra, a Seer on three episode of the WB Network series Charmed. She also had roles in minor horror films including Voodoo Moon, House of Bones and Psychosis.
