Handicapped, handicapable, abled, disabled, physically challenged, mentally challenged... choose your descriptor. This page focuses on media wherein a central character, usually a protagonist, possesses some form of a physical or mental challenge that makes life in a horror movie even more difficult. This may include inability to walk, hear or see, as well as other factors. Note: Films where the main antagonist suffers from some form of handicap will not be included. Example: Candyman because he has a hook for a hand, etc.
