Gustavo Salmerón is a Spanish film actor. He was born in Madrid, Spain on August 27th, 1970. His first American work in the horror genre was in the "Parallel Monsters" vignette from the 2014 found footage anthology film V/H/S: Viral, where he played a man named Alfonso. Alfonso was a Spanish inventor who successfully created a mechanical doorway that could open a portal into a parallel world. Upon activating his device for the first time, he discovered that a version of himself from another reality had been creating the exact same experiment at the exact same time. Excited and astonished, the two Alfonsos agreed to visit each other's world for exactly fifteen minutes and then arranged to return to their respective dimensions. As the original Alfonso went to his counterpart's reality, the second Alfonso explored his alternate's house, noting how everything was a mirror opposite of what he was accustomed to.
