Eddie Powell was a British film actor and stunt performer. He was born in London, England on March 9th, 1927. His first work in horror was playing an Arab (2nd Arab as a matter of fact) in the 1964 film Curse of the Mummy's Tomb. He portrayed the Mummy, Prem, in The Mummy's Shroud. He played a journalist in Quatermass and the Pit in 1967. He was the Goat of Mendes in The Devil Rides Out. He played a victim of Dracula in the 1974 television movie version of Dracula. He made an uncredited appearance in Alien in 1979 as the Xenomorph. He also appeared in the film's sequel, Aliens, as another Xenomorph. Eddie Powell passed away in Berkshire, England on August 11th, 2000 at the age of 73.
