Pooh says, "Don't be a SCAB like Eeyore! Support the strike!"
2023 is the the twenty-third year in the 21st century. It follows 2022 and precedes 2024. It began on a Sunday. As with most years, 2023 featured a hodgepodge of sequels, requels, remakes, re-imaginings... choose your neologism. You got your haunted mansions. You got devious little gremlins running about. You got your Deadites. You got your demonic possessions. You got your killer robots. You got your slashers. And you even have a sadistic honey-eating killer teddy bear. Oh, bother! Oh, and just when you thought you were ready to close the book on The Walking Dead... watch out! There's some spin-offs coming your way! Of course a lot of projects ending up taking a dump due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. The combined protests of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists put a halt to all unionized film production from July 14th to November 9th, 2023. As a result, many film projects were temporarily shelved, as well as television projects such as season twelve of American Horror Story, which was only able to broadcast the first half of their season.
