A castle is a big building with a moat, dungeons and pointy towers. They are different from palaces in that they are designed primarily as fortifications. Castles are usually occupied by noble families and their entourage such as Kings, Queens, Princes, Princesses, and such, as well as armed guards and a bevy of servants. Castles may also be found at popular, yet exorbitantly expensive theme parks based upon classic children s' stories. It may be the magical journey of a lifetime, but after tallying up your credit card bills you'll be screaming "Bibbity-bobbity-BITCH!"
Despite popular belief, not all castles are located in non-U.S. countries. The Bulgarian nobleman, Count Yorga - in true vampiric fashion, furnished himself a castle mansion in Los Angeles, which came equipped with its own creepy dungeon crypt for which to secure any number of coffins. [1]

- Tower of London: In London, England. Formerly used as a prison.
