Carrie Preston is an American film and television actress born in Macon, Georgia on June 21st, 1967. She is best known for playing the role of outspoken bar waitress Arlene Fowler on the HBO television series True Blood. She was introduced in the series' pilot episode, "Strang Love" and has appeared in nearly every episode of the series to date.
