Burke Devlin was a major supporting character featured in the 1966 gothic soap opera Dark Shadows. Introduced in the first episode, Burke was presented as an antagonistic character, using his charm and influence to seek revenge against the Collins family. As the episodes wore on, Burke's demeanor softened and he became romantically tied to two of the main characters from the series, Carolyn Stoddard and Victoria Winters.
