A bulb horn, or bulbhorn, is a single-reed horn attached to an air bulb. By squeezing the bulb, the air is pushed through the reed and emits a single, loud honking sound. Such horns were commonly used on early vehicles and were attached to the steering column. As vehicle technology advanced, bulb horns fell out of fashion. They have since been used as an entertainment tool employed by comedians and clowns. The vaudeville comic Harpo Marx (of the Marx Brothers) used a bulb horn as part of his character's schtick. The psychotic killer clown known as Art uses a bulb horn to irritate those around him. In a non-canon appearance in The 9th Circle, Art used a bulb horn to startle a train passenger named Casey. In Terrifier 2, Art found a bulb horn in a Halloween costume shop and used it to unnerve a customer named Sienna Shaw. In one instance, Art's one-time sidekick Victoria Heyes (possessed by a demon at the time), used Art's horn and honked it several times, greatly irritating the clown.
