Bones is an American feature film of the supernatural thriller subgenre of horror. It was directed by Ernest R. Dickerson with a screenplay written by Adam Simon and Tim Metcalfe. It was presented by New Line Cinema and produced by the Lloyd Segan Company in association with Heller Highwater Productions. The film premiered in the United States on October 24th, 2001. The movie stars rap artist and actor Snoop Dogg as Jimmy Bones - a man who is murdered in 1979 and comes back twenty-two years to avenge his own death and clean up the neighborhood, which has become rife with crime and drugs.
