- Body Bags was released to DVD on July 25th, 2000 by Republic Pictures Home Video. The film is also included on the Scarefest DVD boxset collection along with Rumpelstiltskin, and Witchboard III: The Possession.
- Writers Billy Brown and Dan Angel were also responsible for creating the short-lived anthology series Night Visions. Tobe Hooper directed two episodes of the series, "The Maze" and "Cargo". "The Maze" was included in another compilaton film, 2002's Shadow Realm.
