"Wait a second! That's NOT how mirrors work!"

"Wait a second! That's NOT how mirrors work!"

A woman walks up the steps of a dance studio until she gets to a large practice area with floor-length mirrors on all sides. She changes into her ballerina shows and begins practicing. Suddenly, she notices something odd in the mirror. Her reflection appears to be slightly out of synch with her movements. She continues her dance moves, keeping a watchful eye on her reflection. The image reflects her movements almost perfectly, but something is still off.

The ballerina spontaneously goes into an unexpected spin, and the reflection cannot match her movements. The ballerina is shocked and scared, but also amused, as it is now clear that her reflection is operating independently of her. She begins executing standard ballet moves, and her double attempts to mimic her, but cannot seem to maintain the same pace or style. The ballerina gives her double a look of disapproval and the double responds by executing spastic, clumsy dance moves.

The ballerina continues to scowl at her double, silently chastising it for its lack of skill. The double spins on its feet, but breaks its ankle. Shockingly, it is the ballerina who feels the pain however, not the reflection. The double now realizes that it can repay its host for her disapproving looks and bends its own finger back until it breaks. The ballerina howls in pain. The reflection then breaks its own neck and the ballerina's head turns completely around. She falls to the floor dead as the doppelganger now begins to perform a proper ballet dance.
