Biography[]

Angus was an elderly man who lived in the town of Letchmoor Heath in England. He claimed to be a descendant of Celtic mystics and though he was blind, he believed he could "see" things that others couldn't. By and large, the people of Letchmoor Heath regarded Angus as a drunkard and a crackpot, and he spent many of his evenings swilling back pints of beer at the Three Horseshoes tavern. His home life was rather solitary and he lived in a tiny ramshackle cabin decorated with various bric-a-brack, debris and animal bones.

Despite his eccentric nature, Angus did appear to perceive things that others couldn't. Barmaid Abigail Willoughby reminded her customers how Angus correctly predicted a postal strike a year earlier. When a seamstress named Gertie brought a bogman into the Three Horseshoes, Angus noted a presence of evil in the room.

Shortly thereafter, Professor Ian Matheson and his assistant Randi Wallace came into the Three Horseshoes and Angus recognized that she had the Mark of the Wolf upon her. Though he had no way of knowing this, Angus was correct in determining that Randi was a werewolf.

Professor Matheson and Randi Wallace visited Angus' cabin a few days later. Randi was hoping that he might know something that could help her condition, but he told her that there was no cure for lycanthropy.

The bogman from the tavern, later revealed to be the body of a two-hundred-year-old man named Atticus Grey came to life and began killing several people in the village. He broke into Angus' cabin and stabbed him and left him bleeding upon the floor. Ian and Randi discovered him moments later and he wrote his killer's name in his own blood on the floor. [1]
