Black Christmas is an American horror film of the psycho-thriller/slasher subgenre(s). It is a remake of the 1974 holiday thriller Black Christmas directed by Bob Clark. The remake was written and directed by Glen Morgan and produced by Dimension Films. It was released theatrically in the United States and Canada on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2006.
