Points of Interest[]

Bavarian Alps
Also known as the Northern Limestone Alps, these are the ranges of the Eastern Alps north of the Central Eastern Alps located in the alpine states of Austria and Germany. The distinction from the latter group, where the higher peaks are located, is based on differences in geological composition.
Ingolstadt
Ingolstadt is a city located in the administrative region of Upper Bavaria in Germany. It was first referenced as Ingoldes stat by Charlemagne in the year 806. It became the capital of the Duchy of Babaria-Ingolstadt between 1392 and 1447. In 1472, Bavarian Duke Louis the Rich founded the University of Ingolstadt. The University plays a key role in horror fiction as this where a young Victor Frankenstein attended school so he could learn all of those neat nifty processes required to stitch a body together and bring it back to life. In May of 1776, the secret society known as the Illuminati was founded in Ingolstadt.
