The Bad Seed is an American television movie of the psychological thriller subgenre of horror with an emphasis on the "killer kids" film trope. It was directed by and stars Rob Lowe in his directorial debut and features a teleplay written by Barbara Marshall. It was produced by Front Street Pictures, Inc., The Wolper Organization, Warner Bros. Television and Lowe's own production company, Loweprofile. It first aired on Lifetime TV on September 9th, 2018.
