The Babysitter is an American feature film of the horror and comedy genres. It was directed by McG with a screenplay written by Brian Duffield. It was produced by New Line Cinema, the Boies/Schiller Film Group and Wonderland Sound and Vision. It was released as a Netflix original movie and premiered on October 13th, 2017. The movie stars Judah Lewis as Cole - a young boy who is emotionally stifled and often the target of a trio of bullies led by a jerk named Jeremy. On the upside, Cole also has a super-hot babysitter named Bee, played by Samara Weaving, whom Cole has a crush on. The time that Cole and Bee spend together represent the best moments of his life - that is until he discovers that Bee is actually the head of a group of psychopathic murderers who need his blood for an occult ritual that will grant them their hearts' desires.
