Arwen is a fictional child and a minor character featured in the Crossed line of comic book titles published by Avatar Press. She first appeared in flashback in Crossed #1 in September, 2008.
Biography[]
Arwen was the young daughter of Joel and Amy. The family were retreating from a group of Crossed with fellow survivors, when Amy broke her ankle while walking and holding Arwen. Joel tried to protect them by creating a circle of salt, which he erroneously believed would kill the Crossed, but the Crossed broke through the salt line and slaughtered Arwen and raped Joel and Amy. While her parents were being brutally raped, Arwen was dismembered and murdered by the Crossed.
