Anna and the Apocalypse is a British film of the comedy, horror, and musical genres. It was directed by John McPhail with a screenplay written by Alan McDonald and Ryan McHenry. It was produced by Creative Scotland and Parkhouse Pictures and developed by Blazing Griffin and Black Camel Pictures. It was distributed in the United States by Orion Pictures. The film was first screened at Fantastic Fest in the United States on September 22nd, 2017. The movie premiered in the United Kingdom on November 30th, 2018. Anna and the Apocalypse stars Ella Hunt as the titular Anna Shepherd - a teenage student readying to embark on an uncertain future. Plans are put on the back burner however, as Anna's world is turned upside down due to an unexpected zombie apocalypse. I guess they're all unexpected though, aren't they?
