Anna Paquin is a Canadian television and movie star born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on July 24th, 1982. Her first genre film was the 2002 horror movie Darknes directed by Jaume Balagueró. Although she is best known for playing the role of super-heroine Rogue in the X-Men films, Anna's most significant contribution to the genre is that of Sookie Stackhouse, the main character from the HBO series True Blood. To date, Paquin has appeared in every episode of the series. In 2009, Paquin began dating co-star and on-screen lover Stephen Moyer. In between season 3 and 4 of True Blood, between June and September of 2010, Anna took some time to add her name to the ranks of would-be scream queens featured in Wes Craven's Scream 4. She played a character named Rachel Milles.
