Anna, surname unknown, lived in the town of Five Keys, New Mexico. Around the year 1962, she was abducted by serial killer Gerald Rainier. Gerald held her prisoner in the basement of his home where he kept her chained to the floor. Gerald's sixteen-year-old daughter, Elise, who had the ability to see ghosts, discovered Anna as she was trying to escape. However, at this point, Elise could not distinguish between the dead and the living, and assumed that she was a spirit trapped inside the house. After Gerald drove Elise away, he murdered Anna, who then truly became a ghost. Decades later, an elderly Elise Rainier returned to her childhood home at the behest of its current owner, Ted Garza, who complained that the house was haunted.
