Amy is a survivor and a minor character featured in the Crossed line of comic book titles published by Avatar Press. She first appeared in flashback in Crossed #1 in September, 2008.
Biography[]
Amy was an adult Caucasian woman in her apparent mid-twenties and a survivor of a viral pandemic that turned its victims into murderous psychopathic lunatics dubbed the Crossed. She had a husband named Joel and a daughter named Arwen.
When the family were retreating from a group of Crossed with the survivor group, Amy was holding Arwen and tripped, breaking her ankle. Joel ran back in a futile effort to save them, as the Crossed neared and the group left them behind. Joe tried to protect them with a circle of salt, which he erroneously believed would kill a Crossed, but the savages broke through the salt line and slaughtered Joel, Amy, and Arwen. Amy and Joel were brutally raped by the Crossed while Arwen was killed and mutilated, with Joel and Amy presumably succumbing to their injuries and dying afterwards. [1]
