"Resurrector" is the ninth episode of season one of the television series American Gothic. It was directed by Elodie Keene and written by series creator Shaun Cassidy as well as Michael R. Perry and Stephen Gaghan. It first aired on CBS on Wednesday, January 10th, 1996. In this episode, Radio talk show host Mel Kirby approaches Lucas Buck for help in bringing his show to television. When Lucas refuses, Mel and his wife, Gloria, vow to ruin him. Meanwhile, a depressed Caleb Temple decides he wants to give his late sister Merlyn a second funeral.
