Alex Stevens was a stunt coordinator who made frequent appearances on the original 1960s television series Dark Shadows. In addition to regular stunt work, Stevens usually doubled as the werewolf in certain episodes. He played the werewolf in twenty-three episodes of the series and was the stunt double for Cavada Humphrey in episode 649. Following Dark Shadows, Stevens provided stunt work for films such as Silent Night, Bloody Night and Scanners.

  • Alex Stevens was the mystery guest on a 1970 episode of "What's My Line?" where he appeared in full werewolf makeup. He signed in as the Wolfman. After the panel members were allowed to remove their blindfolds, Stevens removed his werewolf makeup for the audience.
