Alan Grant is a comic book writer born in Scotland and known mostly for his work with various UK publishing, in particular, the popular British sci-fi character, Judge Dredd. Along with his longtime writing partner John Wagner, Grant wrote the first four issues of the Nightbreed comic book series, which adapted the 1990 Nightbreed film by Clive Barker.
