  • This is the first appearance of Wundarr. His origin is revealed in this issue. Wundarr's origin is an intentional pastiche of Superman from DC Comics titles.
  • The distance between Citrusville and the crash-site of Wundarr's ship is about nine miles.
  • It is a bit odd that every man on F.A. Schist's construction crew is packing a gun of some kind.
  • Reference is made to Buck Rogers in this issue, with regards to Wundarr's appearance and garb.
