The Addams Family is an American animated feature film of the spooky comedy genre, which contains some elements of fantasy horror. It is based on the Addams Family comic strip created by Charles Addams, which was later adapted into a live-action TV series in 1964, two animated programs, and three live-action films. The movie was directed by Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon with a screenplay by Matt Lieberman based on a story treatment by Lieberman, Vernon, and Erica Rivinoja. It was produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer & BRON Creative and premiered theatrically in the United States on October 11th, 2019.
