- The Addams Family was created by cartoonist Charles Addams and appeared as single-panel comic strips that appeared in The New Yorker magazine, beginning in 1938. The original Addams Family TV series, which ran for two seasons from 1964 to 1966 was developed for television by David Levy.
- Actors Ted Cassidy and Blossom Rock were both born in Pennsylvania. Ted was born in Pittsburgh, while Blossom was born in Philadelphia.
- Actors Jackie Coogan and Ken Weatherwax were both born in Los Angeles, California.
