Abbott and Costello Meet the Killer, Boris Karloff is a 1949 horror/comedy directed by Charles T. Barton and features the comedy team of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. This film is the third Abbott and Costello "horror" series produced by Universal Pictures and follows the spooky 1941 film Hold That Ghost as well as the popular Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein in which the duo engage in hijinx with the classic Universal Monsters. In this film, Bud and Lou play Casey Edwards and Freddie Phillips, two employess of the Lost Caverns Hotel. When a hotel guest is found murdered, Freddie becomes the number one suspect. Lurking throughout the hotel corridors however is the mysterious Swami Talpur.
