Allusions[]

  • The title of the series is actually an incorrect labeling for the street address 999 Park Avenue, which is where The Drake hotel is located. When light is cast upon the building sign at a certain angle, the shadow makes it read as 666 Park Avenue.
  • The number 666, referred to as the Number of the Beast, is most commonly attributed to the Devil. It originates with Chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation in the Holy Bible. It is usually translated as "Here is Wisdom, Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast. for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred three score and six". [2]
  • Music played in this episode includes Symphony No 7 In A Major, Op 92- II Allegretto by Ludwig van Beethoven.
