307 Gardner Road is a location featured in the Conjuring film series. It played a pivotal role in the 2014 feature film Annabelle. 307 Gardner Road was the residence of the Form family, which consisted of medical resident John Form, his wife Mia Form and their newborn baby. Mia was a collector of dolls, so John helped to improve her collection by purchasing an old hand-crafted porcelain doll named "Annabelle".
History[]
In October, 1967, a woman named Annabelle Higgins and her boyfriend, who were members of a Satanic cult known as the Disciples of the Ram, returned to her family's home, which was next door to 307 Gardner Road. Breaking into the house in the middle of the night, they stabbed Annabelle's parents to death, before then making their way into the Form's household. The thin attacker stabbed Mia in the side while Annabelle herself retreated to the nursery. While John fought up against Mia's attacker, Annabelle found the old porcelain "Annabelle" doll that had once traumatized her in her youth. Breaking into the Form's home was not an accident, as Annabelle somehow knew where the doll was located. As police entered the house and shot the male cultist, Annabelle Higgins took her own life by slicing her throat open. Before expiring, she drew the symbol of the Disciples of the Ram onto the wall in her blood.

Notes[]
- There is an actual 307 Gardner Road located in Horseheads, New York.
- The house number is 307. 3:07 is also the time that the clocks stopped in The Conjuring.
- The living room at 307 Gardner Road was also used as Mia Form's sewing room. Sewing rooms appear to hold some matter of supernatural significance in horror fiction. In The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, the bedroom where David Glatzel was first cursed with the witch's totem at 204 Oak Grove Road was converted into a sewing room. In The Amityville Horror, a priest named Father Delaney attempted to bless an upstairs room and was assaulted by hordes of flies and heard a disembodied voice scream at him "Get out!" Homeowner Kathy Lutz later converted this area into a sewing room.
- 307 Gardner Road was right next door to the home of Peter and Sharon Higgins, though the street number of their home is unknown.
- A newspaper article indicates that the home invasion at 309 Gardner Road took place on October 2nd, 1970, but his is inaccurate when placed within the timeline of the other films. The actual date is October 2nd, 1967.
