28 Days Later[]

The group observes the dismembered infected before them. Derrick suggests that they should return to the helicopter, but Selena rejects the notion, reminding him of the military plane that fired upon them. Tensions between the two increase until somebody points out a large structure in the distance - possibly an abandoned hotel. They make their way to the building as more infected appear and manage to get inside just in time.

Clint Harris tells the group that a supply boat will be ready to pick them up in Sumburgh first thing in the morning. They will only have a small window of opportunity though before the boat leaves. Clint instructs Derrick and Selena to hotwire one of the vans in the parking lot so they can continue their journey. The two tell Acorn to lock the doors behind them. They make a run for the van and are immediately set upon by infected. Selena fights them off with her blade, while Derrick hotwires the vehicle. He gets it started and peels out of the parking lot. Selena thinks that he has abandoned them.

Inside the building, Trina and Hirsch decide to look around for some weapons. They hear noise coming from a darkened doorway and go to investigate. Hirsch doesn't realize that the open doorway is an elevator shaft and falls into it. He falls onto a pile of infected. He scrambles to climb out and Trina pulls him the rest of the way as the infected claw at his feet. Fortunately, he is not bitten.

Back outside, Selena continues to hack and slash at the oncoming infected. Derrick returns with the van and smears one across the grill. Selena gets inside the vehicle and Derrick tells her he was trying to draw the infected away from their location, but the plan didn't work. He turns the van around and backs it up to the front doors of the building at full speed. As the doors shatter, Selena opens up the back of the van and coaxes everyone inside.

The group drives all the way to Sumburgh and park alongside the boat dock. They go inside one of the nearby bars, but the place is empty. However, it is fully stocked with alcohol, so they take some time to relax. They begin playing rounds of poker. As the evening wears on, an infected breaks into the bar. This time, Hirsch is not so lucky, as he is bitten on the arm.
